NativeViewUserEngagementExample

Demonstrates how to use built-in user engagement features provided by the TWS SDK.

This example showcases how platform-defined campaigns and event-based notifications behave when triggered from native code. You can experiment with campaign definitions under the "Campaigns" tab in your sample project on the TWS platform. After manually logging a custom event, it will become available as a trigger option for campaign configuration.

Features:

  • A default sdk_init event is automatically sent when initializing the SDK:

TWSSdk.initialize(context)
  • Custom events can be logged manually using:

twsManager.logEvent("campaign_clicked")
  • To handle and display push notifications from FCM or similar services:

class MyFirebaseMessagingService : FirebaseMessagingService() {
override fun onMessageReceived(remoteMessage: RemoteMessage) {
TWSSdk.displayNotification(
context = this,
contentTitle = "New snippet available!",
contentText = "Tap to view the latest update.",
payload = remoteMessage.data
)
}
}

Ensure the payload includes at minimum:

  • "path": e.g. "projId/snippetId"

  • "type": e.g. "snippet_push"

These features allow you to deliver targeted content through in-app campaigns seamlessly integrating native and web-driven experiences.
